The Computers that run my life (updated june 08):
The Server:
- Cathy's old P-II

an SMC2602W v.2a wireless network card (to talk to
the laptop)
My Desktop:
- AMD64 4200+
- 2G DDR400 RAM
- GeForce 7100GS (wasted really)
- HDA: 300G samsung ; HDB : 300G WD ; SDA : 12G seagate ; SDB : 40G WD 10000rpm
- gigabyte rocket cooler. keeps the cpu cool enough even with the fan off!
running Gentoo-64, Gnome mostly, i only upgrade the software i use a
lot. i might 'emerge sync' about once a week.
A PowerBook:
- The one that can't have a DVD drive.
- 384M (that's the most you can have)
- SMC2602W wireless card which i bought from Steve
(with the SMC2602W driver)
- OS9.1 (since CKP's first mac had system 1)
my game machine (lately overrun by video crunching and visual studio):
- AMD64 3800+
- 1G RAM
- GeForce 7300GT (for Oblivion)
- system drive : 4G (just enough for XP) ; data drive: 120G
